Formed by musicians with a solid reputation in the brazilian scene, Duo Quanta ventures through an unexplored world: the national repertoire for piano and cello. On this CD, with works by composers from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Paraíba, the duo formed by Raiff Dantas Barreto and Paulo Gazzaneo corageously chose to record solely with all-brazilian instruments, not only showing but also putting to proof their sound quality. The Saulo Dantas Barreto cello and the Fritz Dobbert piano succeeded very well on the test, showing their evolution in making instruments that sound at the same level as their european, japanese and american counterparts. No doubt about, it's a 100% brazilian CD.
