After presenting together "Brazilian Sketches" composed by Nelson Ayres dor two bass-clarinetists and symphonic band in 1998, Henri Bok and Luís Afonso "Montanha" decided to start the "Duo Clarones". They have an interesting repertoire consisting of original works (both brazilian and european), jazz arrangements and their own compositions. DUO CLARONES played in the Openin Concert of the Clarinet Fest Ostende, in Belgium, in 1999 (along with the Symphonic Band of Guides) and the world début of the "Suite", by Nailor "Proveta" Azevedo, for two bass-clarinetists and wind instruments symphonic band in November 2000 in the city of Tatuí, during the "5th Brazilian Meeting of Clarinet Players".
